OVERVIEW
Auronzo lake is a family-friendly bathing lake perfect for a relaxing dip in the great outdoors. It is nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, among the rich vegetation of the surrounding peaks and offers many ideas for pleasant walks, bike rides on the bicycle and pedestrian path, but also cultural activities.
There is no time to get bored on the lake beaches: in addition to the heated swimming pool and the rental of pedal boats, you can go horseback riding and watch the international canoe and dragon boat competitions. You can’t miss all the sport activities dedicated to the family at the nearby Mount Agudo center.
The lake, also known as Lake of Santa Caterina, hosts on its waters a very pretty church dedicated to the saint from which it takes its name. The place is surrounded by woods and some of the most evocative mountain chains. It will leave you speechless.
